Regarding the investment in the construction of 21 rest stops on the Eastern North-South Expressway, the Vietnam Road Administration has signed contracts for 18 rest stops; 1 station on the Quy Nhon-Chi Thanh Expressway is selecting an investor, expected to open bidding on May 26, 2025; 2 stations on the Can Tho-Hau Giang and Hau Giang-Ca Mau expressways are adjusting project information.

The above adjustment is due to investment divergence and is consistent with the adjusted planning scale from 4 lanes to 6 lanes according to the Prime Minister's decision to adjust the road network planning.

Currently, investors are urgently completing investment procedures and implementing construction of rest stops, striving to basically complete public service works before December 30, 2025 according to the direction of the Minister of Construction in Official Dispatch No. 02/CD-BXD dated March 14, 2025.
