Tran Thanh Luc cannot win the 2024 World Billiards Championship

During the first 5 consecutive rounds, the host Vietnam's players could not score any points. Meanwhile, Cho Myng Woo scored 11 points, quickly leaving Tran Thanh Luc far behind.

For the rest of the match, Cho Myung Woo took advantage of the gap mentioned above, always leading Tran Thanh Luc. On the other hand, the further away he was, the more pressure Tran Thanh Luc felt and the more likely he was to miss.

At the end of the first half, Tran Thanh Luc was behind 10-25 (in the knockout rounds of 3-cushion carom billiards, players will compete for 50 points, the first half will end when a player reaches 25 points or more).

However, Cho Myng Woo was even better after that. The Korean player scored 11 points in a row, ending the final match quickly with a 50-23 victory, after only 20 turns.

Cho Myng Woo became the 2024 World Carom 3-Cushion Billiards Champion, officially dethroning Bao Phuong Vinh. Tran Thanh Luc became the new runner-up of this tournament.
