Presenting 2 solidarity houses to the people

(HGO) - On the morning of December 30, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Van Chinh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, came to present solidarity houses to people in Ward IV, Vi Thanh City. The two households receiving houses this time are poor households of the ward, each house is supported with 50 million VND.

Visiting the families, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh kindly asked and encouraged the families to try to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.

The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that over the years, activities for the poor in the province launched by the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee have always received close attention and direction from Party committees at all levels, coordination from authorities at all levels, and active response from organizations, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province.

The amount of 50 million VND to support the construction of each house, although it cannot bring a comfortable home, but it helps to arouse more love, solidarity, attachment, and mutual help among people in society.

Up to this point, Vi Thanh city has presented 116 solidarity houses in the area, reaching 116% of the plan. The province has also basically completed the construction and handed over 1,400 solidarity houses, practically establishing achievements to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the province's founding (January 1, 2004 - January 1, 2024).
