On December 15th, in Hanoi, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports held a ceremony to summarize and award prizes for the 2nd Hanoi City Excellent Librarian Competition with the theme "Every homeland is a part of the nation."

In his concluding remarks, Tran Tuan Anh, Director of the Hanoi Cultural and Library Center, affirmed that the competition aimed to honor librarians who are highly skilled, dynamic, creative, and passionate about their profession; and to motivate librarians to continuously strive for excellence in the new era.
According to Comrade Tran Tuan Anh, this competition is organized in a new format, with each unit creating a video clip consisting of two parts: an introduction and a promotional presentation of books. The participants are library staff at the commune and grassroots levels, and are now open to school library staff throughout Hanoi.

With the theme "Every homeland is a national sky," the 2nd Hanoi City Excellent Library Staff Competition attracted 79 entries representing library staff from communes and wards across the capital city.
The entries spread the message that every region deserves love, protection, and pride; that each distinct sky, from the mountains and plains to the islands, blends into one great national sky, where every librarian is a keeper of the flame of knowledge, igniting love for the homeland, transforming books into bridges connecting all Vietnamese souls. Beyond showcasing valuable works, the librarians also demonstrated professional presentation skills and versatile artistic abilities through their performances, stories, and pages.

“The competition has strongly disseminated the message of solidarity and civic awareness regarding a unified Vietnam, without borders in spirit, while affirming the core role of libraries in preserving and promoting national cultural and historical values, contributing to building a new Vietnamese person. The competition has discovered outstanding, enthusiastic, and creative library staff members who are ready to overcome difficulties and reach new heights,” emphasized the Director of the Hanoi Cultural and Library Center – the organizing unit of the competition.
According to the judges' assessment, most participating teams made great efforts to perform well in their respective segments. Many teams presented excellent, insightful, and engaging scripts, with elaborate staging and skillful performances from the contestants, demonstrating the talent of these truly capable librarians from the capital city.
The organizing committee awarded prizes to 30 high-quality works, including 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, 5 third prizes, and 21 consolation prizes.
First prize was awarded to Tay Ho ward. Second prize went to Hong Ha ward, Bach Mai ward, and Bat Trang commune. Third prize was awarded to Dong Ngac ward, Hoan Kiem ward, Hung Dao commune, Thanh Xuan ward, and Khuong Dinh ward.
