Director of the Department of Information and External Relations, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, Head of the organizing committee of the online contest "Proud of Vietnam" Do Phuong Thao said that the ceremony aimed to honor the authors and winning works, while affirming the role of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation.

"The event contributes to raising awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members and people of Ho Chi Minh City in the fight against distortion of revolutionary achievements and the leadership role of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh," Ms. Do Phuong Thao assessed.
The online contest "Proud of Vietnam" was held on February 25. After 3 weeks of implementation, the contest attracted more than 3 million people nationwide. The organizing committee judged and awarded prizes to 10 outstanding groups and 48 individuals. Of which, 2 first prizes went to author Vo Thi Ngoc Anh, teacher at Sao Mai Kindergarten, Bao Lam District, Lam Dong Province and author Diep Phuong Khanh, lecturer at Da Lat Tourism College, Lam Dong Province.
The political contest to protect the Party's ideological foundation and fight against erroneous and hostile views in Ho Chi Minh City in 2023 - 2024 was held on September 25, 2023.

In terms of purpose, the contest selects outstanding works of "political" nature, serving the propaganda work of strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting and refuting erroneous and hostile views in the new situation.
By December 20, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda Department received 1,500 entries from 27 units and 6 individuals, in various genres: monographs, magazines, newspapers, and television.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded certificates, logos, and certificates of merit to 10 collectives; 4 promising prizes, 8 consolation prizes, 6 third prizes, 4 second prizes, and 2 first prizes to authors and groups of authors.
The two contests contribute to widely promoting the historical significance as well as the development achievements of the country and Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
