Attending the event were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van; Miss Vietnam Tourism Ambassador 2024 Dinh Thi Hoa; representatives of relevant units, departments and branches, along with a large number of farmers, cooperatives, and domestic coffee production and trading enterprises.

The Vietnam Specialty Coffee Competition 2025 received 149 coffee samples registered for the competition from 70 units (organizations, individuals) from 9 provinces and cities including: Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Quang Tri, Son La, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi . The total output of the samples entered for the competition was 245 tons (including 173 tons of Robusta, 72 tons of Arabica).
In the preliminary round, the Competition identified 139 samples that met specialty standards (Robusta coffee 92 samples and Arabica 47 samples), equivalent to a rate of 93.3%, reaching the highest level in the history of Vietnamese specialty coffee competitions that have been held.

The Organizing Committee selected 43/139 coffee samples with the highest scores (including 24 Robusta coffee samples and 19 Arabica coffee samples) to compete for the Top 10 Robusta and Arabica final round of the competition.
After a rigorous evaluation process of the final round, the Organizing Committee selected the Top 3 Robusta specialty coffee samples and the Top 4 highest scoring Arabian coffee samples to award prizes.

Specifically: for Robusta coffee, the first prize was awarded to An Coffee Farm, with 86.46 points (Lam Dong province); the second prize was awarded to Tinh Farm, with 86.33 points ( Dak Lak province); the third prize was awarded to Sucafina Vietnam Co., Ltd., with 85.49 points (Lam Dong province).

For Arabica coffee, the first prize was awarded to two units with the same score of 84.79 points, including: Pun Coffee Company Limited (Quang Tri province, with the fermentation method in the fruit) and 8Ro Production, Trade and Service Joint Stock Company (Lam Dong province); the third prize was awarded to two units: Quoc Loc - Da Lat Natural Company Limited, with 84.67 points (Lam Dong province) and Le Duc Binh Farm, with 84.67 points (Quang Tri province).

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the most favorite prize to the Robusta coffee sample of Bui Coffee Supply (Lam Dong province) and the Arabica sample to the BANA'A Coffee Production Facility (Kon Tum province) .

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van emphasized: This is the 7th consecutive year the competition has been held with the aim of finding, evaluating and promoting coffee samples of outstanding quality, meeting international standards for specialty coffee. The competition has become the focus of a series of activities to promote the domestic specialty coffee industry from research - training - promotion to domestic and international trade promotion.
The competition is also an important milestone showing that Vietnamese coffee is following the global trend, gradually ensuring quantity and quality, meeting the strict consumption requirements of the world market.
Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee expects Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association to continue to be a pioneer in connecting the community, contributing to the successful implementation of the project on Developing Vietnamese Specialty Coffee in the period of 2021 - 2030.
