Awarding scholarships to Duc Linh children in especially difficult circumstances

This morning (June 8), at the hall of Duc Linh District People's Committee, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Thuan province in collaboration with Duc Linh District People's Committee organized a scholarship awarding ceremony for children in especially difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies.

At this ceremony, the organizing unit awarded scholarships from the Vietnam Children's Fund to 80 students with special difficulties in Duc Linh district who have excelled in their studies and achieved good and excellent results. Each scholarship is worth 1 million VND, the total value of the scholarships awarded this time is 80 million VND. This is a practical activity in response to the Month of Action for Children in 2023 and to encourage children to achieve the best results after 1 year of study.

Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Cho - Vice Chairman of Duc Linh District People's Committee hoped that students with difficult circumstances would always strive to excel in their studies to become useful citizens for society.
