Over 1,700 billion VND of newly registered capital, wave of businesses skyrocketing

In the first 4 months of 2025, business registration activities in Yen Bai province recorded very positive results.

Specifically, from January to the end of April 2025, the province granted registration certificates to 115 newly established enterprises, an increase of 23.6% over the same period in 2024. Notably, the total registered capital of these new enterprises reached more than VND 1,707 billion. This result reflects the growing confidence of the business community in the province's potential and investment attraction policies.

Analysis of the structure of 115 newly established enterprises shows the dominance of the model of Single-member LLC with 77 enterprises (accounting for more than 67% of the total), followed by 20 Two-member LLCs, 16 Joint Stock Companies and 2 Private Enterprises.

The strong increase in enterprises converted from individual business households is also a highlight in this period. However, besides the bright spots in new establishment, the business picture in Yen Bai still has certain challenges.

In the first four months of the year, a total of 18 enterprises dissolved (12 of which were in April alone). Notably, there are still 605 enterprises temporarily ceasing operations, reflecting the existing difficulties in the business environment, especially for small and micro enterprises in terms of capital pressure, operating costs and competitiveness.

Up to now, Yen Bai province has a total of 3,530 operating enterprises. Of which, LLCs account for the highest proportion with 2,337 enterprises; Joint Stock Companies: 764 enterprises; Private Enterprises: 363 enterprises; FDI Enterprises: 55 enterprises; 100% State-owned Enterprises: 11 enterprises.

The strong increase in newly established enterprises is a positive signal, showing initial effectiveness in efforts to improve the investment and business environment in Yen Bai. To maintain this growth momentum and support sustainable business development, the province needs to continue reviewing and perfecting support policies, promptly removing difficulties, creating the most favorable conditions for the business community to confidently invest, expand production and business, and accompany the overall development of the locality in the new period.
