The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1690/QD-UBND on approving the Investment Project to build a road connecting Provincial Road (DT) 261 and DT.266, with a total investment of over 392 billion VND (from the local budget and other legal capital sources).

The project is assigned to the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor.
According to the design, the route connecting DT.261 and DT.266 has a total length of over 2km, of which the section passing through Phu Binh district is over 1.5km long, the remaining section passing through Pho Yen city; the road surface is 47m wide. The project also includes the following items: Shade tree system, traffic safety signs along the route, lighting system, technical trenches across the road, sidewalks, median strips and rainwater drainage system.
The route has its starting point (Km0+00) intersecting with Provincial Road 261 at Km47+350.54; its end point (Km2+39.14) intersecting with Provincial Road 266 at the beginning of Kenh Bridge, in Trung 2 Hamlet, Diem Thuy Commune (Phu Binh).
To implement the Project, the province will invest in building 2 resettlement areas (with a total area of about 5.5 hectares) in Hanh hamlet, Dong Tien ward (Pho Yen city) and Binh hamlet, Diem Thuy commune (Phu Binh).
Phase 1 of the Project will be implemented in 2023-2024, and Phase 2 will be implemented in 2025-2026.
