Overcoming difficulties, Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Corporation has always received the attention, direction and facilitation of the leaders of Thai Nguyen province, Vietnam Steel Corporation and superior management agencies, along with the consensus of the staff and workers. The Party Committee of the Company has focused on synchronous leadership, directing the Party Committees, affiliated Party cells, departments, offices and member units to proactively follow market developments, advise on building appropriate production plans, close to actual needs.
The Company's Party Committee has also focused on directing the implementation of the principles of buying and selling according to regulations and market conditions, balancing raw materials and organizing production closely every month, minimizing risks. Promoting the advantages of a closed metallurgical chain; applying scientific and technical solutions to production, business and investment; taking advantage of the advantage of partial autonomy in raw materials such as coal, ore, coking oil, recovering coking gas, blast furnace gas to proactively produce and reduce costs; maintaining, repairing, maintaining and renovating equipment...

In the past 5 years, TISCO's rolled steel production and consumption output reached nearly 3.8 million tons; steel billets produced more than 1.6 million tons, equal to 107.5% of the plan; blast furnace pig iron produced nearly 950,000 tons, equal to 101.5% of the plan; coke produced nearly 566,000 tons; total revenue was nearly 56,000 billion VND; paid to the State budget more than 1,500 billion VND; ensured jobs for nearly 5,000 workers with an average income of nearly 10.5 million VND/person/month for the entire term.
The biggest highlight of the last term was the leadership role of the Party Committee in coordinating the handling of the difficulties of the Phase 2 Project. With the attention of the Government , Central ministries, Thai Nguyen province and the direct leadership of the Party Committee, the Company's collective closely coordinated with relevant agencies, persistently negotiated and handled legal and financial problems.
As a result, on April 17, 2025, the Company officially signed an Agreement to terminate and liquidate the EPC Contract with the General Contractor MCC (China) - an important turning point paving the way for restructuring the Project, developing a new investment plan, and restoring competitiveness. This result affirms the mettle, determination, and leading role of the Party organization in enterprises with State-owned capital.
In addition to production and business activities, the Company's Party Committee identifies Party building as the key to maintaining stability and development orientation. During the term, the entire Party Committee admitted 274 new Party members, exceeding the set target, bringing the total number of Party members to nearly 1,700 comrades. The subordinate Party organizations operate in a disciplined manner, and the quality of Party activities is improved; inspection and supervision work is carried out regularly, contributing to strengthening discipline and order in the entire Party Committee.

The Party Committee regularly and effectively implements the study and follow of Uncle Ho, associated with the responsibility of setting an example; promotes digital transformation (applying the electronic Party Member Handbook, online Party cell meetings, innovating propaganda through competitions, in-depth reporters, etc.). The work of caring for workers is of interest to the entire political system, with practical models such as "Six houses", "Union meals", "TISCO's warm porridge pot", etc., contributing to building corporate culture and spreading social responsibility.
The above results are first of all due to the comprehensive, direct and regular leadership role of the Company's Party Committee in concretizing the Party's guidelines, the State's legal policies and the Resolution of the 16th Party Congress of the Company, term 2020-2025, into the practical operation of the enterprise. Along with that is the high support and consensus among cadres, party members and employees with a sense of responsibility, always steadfastly overcoming difficulties.
One of the profound lessons learned is the need to maintain internal solidarity, promote democracy, and closely connect the Party, professionals, and organizations. Maintaining discipline and order in Party activities, enhancing the sense of responsibility, and exemplary behavior of cadres and Party members, especially leaders, are identified as key factors to ensure the successful implementation of tasks. In addition, experience from handling the Phase 2 Project also shows the important role of coordination between enterprises and functional agencies in resolving and removing difficulties, effectively protecting the interests of the State and enterprises.

Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Corporation has set the following general goals: Continuing to innovate leadership methods, improving the capacity and fighting strength of the entire Party Committee; maintaining internal political stability; building a clean and strong Party and mass organizations. Focusing on promoting all resources, maintaining stable and effective production and business, sustainable growth; improving the competitiveness of TISCO steel products; determined to complete the handling of the Phase 2 Production Expansion Project. This phase is identified as the hinge for the comprehensive restructuring process, focusing on promoting digital transformation, applying science and technology, improving competitiveness, and affirming the role of a leading enterprise in the metallurgy industry.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", the Company's Party Committee continues to affirm its core leadership role, bringing TISCO to sustainable development, worthy of the tradition of the Vietnamese metallurgical industry and the trust of the Provincial Party Committee, Vietnam Steel Corporation and all employees. Regarding production and business, the goal by 2030: production output and consumption of rolled steel will grow by an average of 3% per year; ensure jobs and improve income for workers. Regarding Party building: Improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization; build a team of cadres with sufficient qualities, abilities and mettle; promote political and ideological education, linking Party work with production and business tasks. Strive to recruit more than 3% of the total number of Party members at the beginning of the term each year; over 90% of Party members and Party organizations will complete their tasks well; Party Committees and socio-political organizations will complete their tasks well or better...
With the solid foundation built in the past term and the spirit of innovation, creativity, and determination to act in the coming term, the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Corporation will continue to affirm its leadership role, bringing the enterprise firmly on the development journey, actively contributing to the development of the Vietnamese Steel industry, the socio-economic development of Thai Nguyen province and the country.
