Young intellectuals volunteer to participate in socio-economic development in border areas

Attending the conference were Major General Quach Van Nho - Deputy Commander of Military Region 9, representatives of provincial departments, branches and People's Committees of districts and cities.

In 2024, Project Management Board 174 of Military Region 9 approved the selection results of 27 successful team members and signed contracts with the Center for Training and Development. These team members will join Project Management Board 174 in building Tan Hong Economic Zone, helping with production support models under construction investment projects and National Target Programs; and participating in projects to support medical equipment for border communes.

Along with that, some team members participate in local work to support the following majors: land administration, agriculture , construction; new rural construction; civil status justice; administrative management, population and citizen identification; support at the Reception and Result Delivery Department of the Commune People's Committee; marketing and tourism promotion, contributing to promoting and developing local OCOP products.

Colonel Bui Duy Quan - Head of the 959th Military Economic Group said that the Youth Unions are always proactive and creative, together with the officers and soldiers of the 959th Military Economic Group, implementing investment projects with good results, contributing to the development of the economy , culture, society, national defense and security, improving and enhancing the material and spiritual life of the people; strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people, building the people's hearts; creating the people's trust in the Party, the State, the Army, and the unit; contributing to the construction of 9/14 new rural communes, of which 5/14 communes meet the criteria for advanced new rural areas, and 5 communes meet 17/19 criteria for new rural areas.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Quach Van Nho - Deputy Commander of Military Region 9 requested Project Management Board 174 of Economic Group 959 to coordinate with localities to closely and effectively manage and use human resources; continue to educate and orientate the ideology so that team members can practice, gain experience and contribute more, and have more team members join the Party. TTTTN team members must identify the unit and locality as their home, a place to work, study, contribute and grow according to the motto "Practice - Experience - Contribution"; effectively apply the knowledge acquired at school into practice.
