Over 500 veteran revolutionary cadres, leaders, cadres, civil servants, workers; departments, unions of the district; communes and towns; armed forces soldiers and students attended.
In a solemn atmosphere, after a minute of silence, the district leaders and the delegation took turns offering incense at the Memorial and visiting each grave, expressing their respect and gratitude to the heroic martyrs, comrades, and compatriots who sacrificed their blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
Tri Ton District Martyrs' Cemetery has gathered over 1,185 martyrs' graves. This is also the resting place of People's Armed Forces Hero Tran Thanh Que. In addition, there are over 830 graves with missing information and unidentified identities.
On this occasion, localities, including Ba Chuc town, Co To town, O Lam commune, An Tuc commune, Luong Phi commune, Nui To commune, Lac Quoi commune, Vinh Gia commune, Le Tri commune also organized delegations to visit, burn incense, and lay wreaths in memory of heroic martyrs at the Monument House, Victory Monument, Monument of late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet, tomb of female Hero of the People's Armed Forces Neang Nghes, Memorial Monument of Hero of the People's Armed Forces Le Thi Sy, and O Ta Soc Relief.
