This event is part of the activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hue City (1980-2025), attracting the participation of many representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, researchers, cultural figures, armed forces and students in the area.
According to the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the exhibition is organized on the basis of the Agreement on cooperation in research and cultural exchange between the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Guangdong Museum of Revolutionary History for the period 2024-2028.
This is also the next result of the long-term, close cooperation relationship between the two museums.

At the exhibition, the public and visitors have the opportunity to access more than 370 documents, images, and artifacts introduced through main contents such as: building the organization from the early days; the same hatred and resistance against foreign invaders; mutual support and close relationships; the spirit of friendship, eternal glory.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Mai, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, said that President Ho Chi Minh (1890-1969) was a great leader of the Communist Party and the Vietnamese people, honored by UNESCO as “Hero of national liberation, outstanding Vietnamese cultural figure”. He devoted his whole life to the struggle for independence and freedom of the country, for peace , democracy and progress in the world. He was also a close friend of the Communist Party and the Chinese people.

According to Dr. Mai, on his journey to find a way to save the country, President Ho Chi Minh once went to China to work for a long time. Everywhere in China, there are traces of his tenacity, demonstrating his tireless efforts for the revolutionary cause, along with glorious moments of fighting side by side between the people of Vietnam and China. That was the beginning of the tradition of solidarity, friendship and close cooperation between the people of Vietnam and China.

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, President Ho Chi Minh visited China many times. Many places across the vast land of China recorded his footsteps. Wherever he went, he received extremely special affection from the Chinese people. His close brotherly affection for his comrades, friends and the Chinese people still exists in the hearts of many people here.
Today, the sites that bear the mark of President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary activities in China have been preserved and promoted by the Chinese government and people, becoming “red addresses” for educating revolutionary traditions and friendly exchanges for the people of the two countries, especially the young generation. These are not only important memorial sites of President Ho Chi Minh in China but also invaluable spiritual heritages that contribute to strengthening the Vietnam-China friendship.

Through the exhibition, the Organizing Committee wishes to convey the message: The steadfast, strong friendship, standing side by side in the revolutionary cause and national construction between Vietnam and China, which was painstakingly built and nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh, Chairman Mao Zedong and previous leaders, is a precious asset that the two Parties, two States and peoples of the two countries need to "inherit well, protect well and promote well".
