The radio work “Father's Story” by the group of authors: Trinh Thi Hai Ha, Tran Thi Tuyet Chinh, Ngo Duc Cuong of Hai Phong Center for Journalism and Communication won the 2024 National Journalism Prize C. “Father's Story” is a simple but emotional radio work, conducted in the form of an interview with a father who has two transgender children. Not just ordinary confidences, this is a story of understanding and companionship - where the father gradually overcomes mental shocks, overcomes himself to confront social prejudices to fully fulfill his role as a father in a humane way. What makes the work special is the sincerity and the silences that are kept - when there is no dialogue, only the sound of the surrounding space, but it is enough for the listener to clearly feel the changes in the character's emotions. It is this simplicity that helps “Father's Story” touch the listeners' emotions - like a gentle message about understanding, the power of family love and the value of quiet companionship in every family./.
