Provincial Social Protection Center extracurricular program "Responding to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day"

On April 26, the Provincial Social Protection Center coordinated with the Provincial Library to organize an extracurricular activity in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day with the theme "Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The extracurricular activity was attended by 80 students, officials and employees of the Center.

Students, officials and employees of the Provincial Social Protection Center participate in reading books.

The extracurricular activities included: Cultural exchange; book introduction on the theme of patriotism with the message "Each page of the book - A pride" through the works: Stories about Uncle Ho; some key battles in the liberation war (1945 - 1975); Diary "Forever twenty" by martyr Nguyen Van Thac; Diary of Dang Thuy Tram. At the same time, students participated in answering questions about the day of liberation of the South and national reunification; reading books at the mobile library; accessing the internet for free.

At the program, the Provincial Library exchanged 200 story books and reference books with the Provincial Social Protection Center Library, to support children to have more diverse reading genres, choose according to their interests and age.

Through activities to develop and encourage passion, practice reading habits, promote reading movement in the Center; at the same time,educate patriotic traditions, express deep gratitude to generations who sacrificed blood for the independence and unification of the country.
