The price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry from 3:00 p.m. this afternoon (May 29). The price of E5RON92 gasoline increased by 70 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 30 VND/liter; the price of diesel oil decreased by 270 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 270 VND/liter, and fuel oil this period also decreased by 250 VND/liter compared to the previous period (May 22).

The new gasoline prices were announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on May 29.

Accordingly, the price of E5RON92 gasoline increased by 70 VND/liter compared to the previous adjustment period, the new selling price will be 19,190 VND/liter. The price of RON95-III gasoline will not be higher than 19,560 VND/liter, after being adjusted up 30 VND/liter compared to the retail price from May 22.

Also from 3:00 p.m. on May 29, the price of 0.05S diesel oil will not be higher than 17,130 VND/liter (down 270 VND compared to the current retail price); The price of kerosene oil will not be higher than 17,100 VND/liter (down 210 VND/liter compared to the current retail price). In this adjustment period, the price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil will decrease by 250 VND/liter compared to the previous period, the new selling price is 16,260 VND/kg.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, the world oil market in this operating period (from May 22 to May 29) is affected by factors such as: increased US crude oil reserves, new US tax policies issued by the US President for many countries, upcoming OPEC+ meeting on plans to increase supply... The above factors have caused world oil prices in recent days to fluctuate up and down depending on the product.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on May 22 and the adjustment period on May 29 was: 84.560 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (up 0.112 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.15%); 86.838 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 0.190 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.22%); 93.208 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 3.268 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 3.39%); 93.290 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 4.836 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 4.93%); 489.698 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 5.800 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 1.17%).

This is the 22nd time in 2025 that gasoline prices have been adjusted. Of which, RON95 gasoline has increased 11 times and decreased 11 times, E5RON92 has increased 12 times and decreased 10 times, diesel has increased 10 times, decreased 11 times and kept the price unchanged, and fuel oil has increased 12 times and decreased 10 times.
