Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training of Nhu Thanh district improves the quality of vocational education

To meet the educational requirements in the new situation, the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training of Nhu Thanh district regularly sends staff and teachers to participate in training courses, professional and technical training; to practice at economic models to research and learn from experience. In addition, the center regularly innovates teaching methods towards developing learners' capacity, diversifying forms of testing and assessment suitable for learners. Teachers proactively seek and update knowledge to enrich lectures. Apply information technology to teaching, professional exchange and management. Thanks to that, the quality of education and training is constantly improved.

Teacher Nguyen Thi Thu Huyen said: “During the teaching process, we regularly organize experience exchanges, encourage students to raise issues and ask questions about specific cases, thereby helping us to have teaching plans that are close to real-life conditions. From there, we improve the quality of teaching, help students understand deeply and apply it to practical labor and production more effectively.”

Currently, the center is implementing Project 5 on “Developing vocationaleducation and creating jobs for workers in ethnic minority and mountainous areas” under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. Accordingly, the center has organized 20 short-term vocational training courses for 700 students in training fields such as: Food processing, family tourism profession, cultivation techniques, animal husbandry, etc.

In addition, the center also cooperates in training occupations that the labor market is lacking in human resources to teach students on the basis of career guidance and registration according to students' wishes. Vocational training is associated with the construction of specific models, so students participating in the course can easily apply knowledge and skills in practice. In the period of 2022-2025, the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training of Nhu Thanh district has coordinated with schools: Hanoi College of Tourism, Vietnam Polytechnic College, Polytechnic College... to enroll 5 intermediate classes, with 246 students in occupations such as: Fashion sewing, hotel and restaurant services, beauty care; e-commerce...

To achieve the above results, one of the tasks promoted by the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training of Nhu Thanh district is to focus on propaganda to help students and people understand correctly about the majors, programs and projects on vocational training. In addition, the center also closely coordinates with the District People's Committee and the Commune People's Committee to understand the vocational needs of the people to organize training courses suitable to the economic development conditions of the locality...

Director of the Center for Continuing Education and Vocational Training of Nhu Thanh District, Nguyen Trung Kien, said: “To achieve the goal of continuing to maintain and improve the quality of vocational education, the Board of Directors of the Center has implemented many solutions such as: assigning appropriate expertise, promoting the capacity of each teacher... In addition, the center has increased research on the vocational training needs of workers, expanded joint programs, cooperated with schools, businesses and production facilities to combine enrollment suitable for each subject and local vocational needs”.
