Bac Giang International Logistics Center welcomes first international route vehicle

The international route departing from Nanning (China), through Huu Nghi - Lang Son border gate has officially opened to Bac Giang International Logistics Center. This is the result of the efforts of the governments and ministries and branches of the two countries, creating a wide corridor to promote trade activities between the two countries.

The international route connection is part of the strategy to turn Bac Giang International Logistics Center into a key link in the logistics corridor connecting China - Vietnam - ASEAN. The center is not only a destination for goods from the northern industrial zones but also a multimodal transit station connecting road, rail, waterway and air, contributing to reducing logistics costs and increasing supply chain efficiency.

According to Mr. Vu Anh Tuan, General Director of Bac Giang International Logistics Center, international route opening not only opens a new trade corridor but also affirms the Center’s capacity to organize, coordinate and operate across borders. This is a strong step for Bac Giang to integrate more deeply into the regional and global logistics chain.

Speaking here, on behalf of the leaders of Bac Giang province, comrade Pham Van Thinh affirmed that the ceremony to welcome the first international vehicle from China to Bac Giang International Logistics Center is a strategic event not only for the province but also for the entire Northern Midlands and Mountains region.

The fact that cargo trucks departing from Nanning - China, through Huu Nghi - Lang Son border gate go directly to Bac Giang International Logistics Center is not simply a transportation connection but also a connection in trade, demonstrating the friendship between the two countries Vietnam - China in general and between the two localities of Bac Giang - Nanning city (China) in particular, towards a region of comprehensive, sustainable development and deep integration.

He emphasized that Bac Giang is growing strongly, gradually becoming a dynamic growth center of the Northern economic region. With a strategic geographical location, modern and synchronous infrastructure, convenient connections with border gates, seaports, airports and key industrial centers such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, etc., Bac Giang province is gradually affirming its role as an important link in the global supply chain.

The opening of international routes helps shorten time and reduce logistics costs for businesses, thereby increasing the competitiveness of the whole region. This is also a concrete step forward, contributing to realizing the goal of turning Bac Giang into an inter-regional logistics center, a multimodal freight transit hub - from road, rail, to waterway and air, gradually integrating deeper into the international logistics network.
