Khanh Hoa Cultural - Cinema Center coordinates to organize activities with the theme "Peace is beautiful"

On the afternoon of April 28, at Tue Tinh Park (Nha Trang City), Khanh Hoa Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center coordinated with the Provincial Library, the Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee and accompanying units to organize an outdoor film screening program and experiential activities with the theme "Peace is beautiful". This is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Truong Sa archipelago (April 29, 1975 - April 29, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

At the program, the organizers set up a space for displaying and introducing books about history and islands; organized an art book stacking competition with models of the Independence Palace, tanks, yellow stars, etc., and games to exchange and learn about history. There was also an art space with the theme " Peace is beautiful" for people and tourists to take pictures with miniatures simulating the national flag, a model of tank 390, the Independence Palace, etc. The organizers also showed the movie "The Scent of Burning Grass" on a big screen, combined with serving free drinks to the audience attending the program.

On this occasion, the organizing committee awarded the first prize to the Nha Trang University Youth Union, the second prize to the Youth Union of the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center, and the third prize to the Youth Union of the agencies under the Youth Union of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the art book arrangement contest. At the same time, 200 red flag shirts with yellow stars were presented to union members, youth, people and tourists participating in the event. These gifts were sponsored by the Youth Union of HCM57 Technology Company Limited.

The event is a highlight in a series of cultural and artistic activities celebrating the April 30th holiday, aiming to educate patriotism, raise public awareness of sea and island sovereignty , promote the spirit of great solidarity and the glorious revolutionary tradition of the nation.
