The Student Scientific Research Conference is an important annual activity of the University of Foreign Languages, Danang , to honor outstanding achievements of students in the field of scientific research, discover and nurture young talents; at the same time, contribute to improving the quality of training and promoting scientific development in the school.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the conference received 305 registered topics. Through the preliminary round at the faculty level, the council selected 168 excellent topics for the school level competition. The topics were divided into 16 professional subcommittees, each subcommittee awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and Encouragement Prizes.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Long - Principal of Danang University of Foreign Languages, the school is one of the key foreign language training units in the Central Highlands, which always emphasizes the role of scientific research associated with training.
Over the years, the unit has continuously promoted scientific research activities, creating a dynamic and creative academic environment; at the same time, aiming to become an excellent, multidisciplinary, multi-field university with a team of high-quality lecturers and students, making practical contributions to the development of the city and the region.
“Scientific research is an important bridge for students to consolidate their knowledge, develop their creativity, practice critical thinking and teamwork skills. From there, it helps students have the opportunity to access modern scientific research methods and comprehensively develop their own capacity, preparing them firmly for their future study and career path” - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Long emphasized.
In the 2023-2024 school year, students of Danang University of Foreign Languages won 1 First Prize, 1 Third Prize and 1 Encouragement Prize at the ministerial level; 1 Second Prize at the city level and 1 Third Prize at the Danang University level in scientific research competitions.
