Pacific University co-organized a seminar on national security

On the afternoon of May 10, Pacific University coordinated with Khanh Hoa Provincial Police to organize a seminar on "Ensuring national security from the perspectives of state management and criminal law" for students of the university's Master of Law program.

At the workshop, speakers included: Major General, Professor - Doctor Bui Quang Ba, former Director of the Institute of Science and Strategy of Public Security, Ministry of Public Security ; Doctor, lawyer Nguyen Duy Huu, former Chief Justice of Dak Lak Provincial People's Court; lawyer Ta Quang Tong - Member of the National Bar Council and representative of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police shared contents related to the theme of the workshop. Including basic concepts of national security, ensuring national security, the role of state management in protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety; contents related to the history of criminal law, crimes against national security, information on some cases; the perspective of those who work to defend law violators, especially crimes against national security...

The workshop is a part of the Administrative Judicial and Criminal Justice courses in the Master of Law program being taught at Pacific University. Thereby, helping students access in-depth knowledge, creating conditions for exchanging and discussing practical legal issues, contributing to improving the quality of training.
