Le Hong Phong High School has more than 100 staff, teachers and employees with 10 professional groups. 100% of staff, teachers and employees meet the standards, including 18 teachers above the standards. In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has a total of 1,732 students, organized into 39 classes.

Compete to teach well, learn well

To improve the quality of teaching and learning, in recent times, Le Hong Phong High School has carried out movements and campaigns such as: "Each teacher is an example of self-study and creativity", "Teach well - Learn well" and "Innovation in teaching and learning management"... From the beginning of the school year, the school organizes quality surveys, then classifies students to have appropriate teaching methods. For weak students, the school organizes remedial classes. The school also organizes competitions to select excellent students at the school level, and trains excellent students for provincial competitions in the subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, Informatics, Foreign Languages.

During the teaching process, teachers always innovate teaching methods in the direction of activating students' activities, at the same time applying IT in lesson preparation, aiming to improve the quality of teaching and learning. In addition, in each school year, the school organizes 2 teaching conferences for teachers of professional groups and teams to participate. Teachers are always creative in applying IT, using teaching aids effectively, as well as innovating teaching methods to promote students' positivity and initiative. "Responding to the emulation movement "Teaching well - Learning well" in each school year, the School Youth Union Executive Committee has launched 4 "learning well" emulation campaigns for student unions in the whole school. The unions have registered for more than 19,000 good lessons. Thanks to that, over the past many years, the rate of students passing the high school graduation exam has reached 100%", said Ms. Tran Thi Le Thuy, Principal of the school.

Innovation in teaching and scientific research

In addition to improving the quality of teaching and learning, Le Hong Phong High School also focuses on innovation in teaching and scientific research. The content of scientific research has created specific and practical application topics, initiatives, and improvements in each field of work, contributing to improving the quality of education and training of the school”.

Responding to the movement of innovation in teaching and scientific research, in recent years, the school has had dozens of industry-level innovation and experience topics of teachers and many topics of students such as: Solutions for applying digital transformation to improve the quality of management at school. Using group teaching methods combined with study sheets in teaching Literature for 10th grade students at school; some experiences in organizing effective kick-off activities in teaching Physics... From the above initiatives, the school has applied them in practice, bringing positive effects in teaching and learning.

Le Hong Phong High School not only focuses on innovation and improving the quality of teaching and learning but also aims at comprehensive education for students. Thanks to that, the quality of teaching and learning at this school is very good, many students have achieved high results in excellent student competitions; sports movements, science and technology innovation, reading culture or participation in provincial sports competitions... all achieved high results among high schools in the province. In the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years, the school was awarded a certificate of merit by the Ministry of Education and Training for its innovation and creativity in teaching and learning.

From the above efforts, Le Hong Phong High School was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag in 2021 and 7 certificates of merit in teaching and learning, National Defense and Security by the People's Committee of Phu Yen province; and was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister in 2024. Recently, the school was awarded a certificate of merit by the Prime Minister for its outstanding achievements in studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh .
