Military School of Military Region 9 received the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal

On November 10, Military School of Military Region 9 held a ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of its tradition (November 10, 1945 - November 10, 2025) and received the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal.

Attending the ceremony were former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Dat - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Commander of Military Region 9, Lieutenant General Ho Van Thai - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of Military Region 9, and former leaders of Military Region 9 through the periods, generations of cadres, teachers and students of the school.

After 80 years of construction, fighting and growing up, from Hau Giang Inter-Provincial Military School to Military School of Military Region 9 today, generations of cadres, teachers and students of the school have always been steadfast, united, overcoming difficulties, and excellently completing all tasks. The school was honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces twice and received many noble awards from the Party, State and the army.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Ho Van Thai - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 9 - requested the school to promote the tradition of "Teaching well - Learning well - Winning", continue to innovate education and training, build a team of exemplary cadres and teachers; promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

Along with that, building a healthy cultural environment, nurturing the personality of revolutionary soldiers, spreading the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", building a strong and comprehensive school in the new period...

At the ceremony, on behalf of the President, Lieutenant General Nguyen Xuan Dat - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of Military Region 9 - awarded the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Military School of Military Region 9.
