On November 10, the Hanoi Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on personnel work.

Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc and Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Sy Thanh attended the decision announcement ceremony.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong - Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee - read the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

According to Decision No. 2509, Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee - was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030, and was introduced to the Hanoi People's Council to elect to hold the position of Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee.

The Politburo decided that Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung would cease to hold the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; transfer, assign, and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.

Then, Hanoi Party Secretary Nguyen Duy Ngoc presented the Politburo's decision to the new Hanoi Party Deputy Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung.

On November 5, at the 14th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee, the Central Committee implemented the contents of personnel work.

At the conference, the Central Committee elected Mr. Tran Sy Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee - to join the Central Inspection Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee.
