On November 17, in Hanoi, Ngo Si Lien Secondary School (Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi) celebrated the 105th anniversary of its founding (1920-2025) and received the Emulation Flag from the Prime Minister.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs , leaders of Cua Nam ward, departments and branches of Hanoi; Ms. Rogelio Polanco Fuentes, First Secretary, Cultural Specialist and wife of the Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam and the working delegation of the Cuban Embassy.

In her speech commemorating the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day and the 105th anniversary of the school's founding, teacher Pham Thu Ha, Party Secretary and Principal of the school, said: In more than four decades of being named Ngo Si Lien Secondary School, the school's journey has been a series of continuous efforts in the emulation movement "Good Teaching - Good Learning".

From a school that initially had only a few hundred students, the school's training model now has 2,627 students, 54 classes and over 100 competent, dedicated teachers (100% of teachers have university qualifications, of which 47 teachers, equivalent to 45.2%, have master's degrees). After 105 years of establishment and development, Ngo Si Lien Secondary School has become the cradle of training many generations of excellent students, contributing to the development of the capital and the country.
