Posthumously awarding the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the late Colonel Bui Huu Danh, former Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department

(DN)- On the morning of May 11, the Provincial Police held a ceremony to posthumously award the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal fromthe President to the late Colonel Bui Huu Danh, former Deputy Director of the Provincial Police.

Authorized by the President, Colonel Tran Tien Dat, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the family of Colonel Bui Huu Danh.

Colonel Tran Tien Dat, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department chaired the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Bui Ngoc Thanh, former member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Bui Xuan Thong, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; leaders, officers, police officers of units and localities, and relatives of the late Colonel Bui Huu Danh.

Colonel Bui Huu Danh has spent 40 years working in the People's Public Security force, 36 years of Party membership; at the same time, he has many great contributions and achievements in the cause of building, fighting and growing the Dong Nai Provincial Public Security force.

Colonel Bui Huu Danh has been awarded many noble titles by the Party, the State and the Public Security sector such as: 30-year Party membership badge; Medal for National Security, Glorious Soldier Medals of First, Second and Third Class and many certificates of merit from the Minister of Public Security, Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, and other levels and sectors.

Recently, the President signed a decision to posthumously award the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to Colonel Bui Huu Danh to demonstrate the Party and State's recognition and appreciation of his achievements and contributions during his work.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Tien Dat, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, expressed his emotion and respect for the contributions of comrade Bui Huu Danh to the cause of protecting national security, and vowed to continue his glorious career.

On behalf of the family, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Bui Xuan Thong expressed his honor, emotion, pride and gratitude to the Party, State and Public Security for organizing a thoughtful and solemn ceremony to posthumously present the noble award to his brother. At the same time, he affirmed that he will continue to promote the family's revolutionary tradition to educate his children and grandchildren to follow in his footsteps.
