Live broadcast of the opening session of the 10th session, 15th National Assembly

On Monday, October 20, 2025, the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam will solemnly open at the National Assembly House, Hanoi.

Before the opening of the session, leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and National Assembly deputies laid wreaths and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.

At 8:00 a.m., the National Assembly held a preparatory meeting. At the meeting, National Assembly deputies listened to the speech of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Manh and listened to the report of the National Assembly Standing Committee member Le Quang Manh on the reception, explanation and revision of the proposed agenda of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly. After that, the National Assembly discussed and voted to approve the agenda of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At 9:00 a.m. the same day, the National Assembly held the Opening Session of the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House.

The opening session was broadcast live by Vietnam Television on VTV1 channel for voters and people nationwide to watch.

The 10th session of the 15th National Assembly will take place from the morning of October 20, 2025 and is expected to close on December 11, 2025 at the National Assembly House, Hanoi. The working time of the session is expected to be about 40 days.

The 10th session is a session with many important contents. The National Assembly has just conducted the contents of the regular session; at the same time, summarized the term of the 15th term. At this session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on 66 contents and groups of contents. Of which, there are 49 draft laws, 4 resolutions on legislative work; 13 groups of contents on socio-economics, state budget, supervision and other important issues.

Recently, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Government, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Secretary General of the National Assembly, the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, the National Assembly delegations, the National Assembly deputies, the National Assembly Office and relevant agencies, organizations and individuals have urgently prepared the contents to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and decision at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
