Social insurance policy communication for nearly 100 workers

At the propaganda session, nearly 100 workers of Trans Pacific Seafood Processing Company Limited were informed about the contents related to the Social Insurance Law 2024 and the topic of Law No. 51/2024/QH15 amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Health Insurance Law; new points related to participants in health insurance, social insurance, unemployment insurance (UI) effective from July 1, 2025; the superiority of the social insurance policy, benefits of participating in social insurance and risks of not participating in social insurance. In particular, employees were better informed about the benefits of receiving monthly pensions and disadvantages of receiving one-time social insurance; instructions on installing and using the VssID-Social Insurance application.

In addition, representatives of the provincial Social Insurance agency answered questions from employees related to unemployment benefits, pensions and one-time social benefits, sickness benefits in toxic environments and voluntary social insurance contributions, maternity benefits for social insurance participants, etc.

Workers learn about social insurance and health insurance policies

Mr. Tran Duy Thanh - Chairman of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union said: Social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance are issues that current employees working in enterprises in industrial parks are interested in. Therefore, through communication, dialogue, and policy consultation, employers can clearly understand their obligations, better implement legal regulations, and fully and promptly pay social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for employees. For employees, this is an opportunity to directly discuss and resolve problems, shortcomings, and difficulties, so that the trade union can listen to their thoughts, aspirations, and feedback from many sides.
