From August 18, 2025, Bamboo Airways will transfer all domestic arrivals and departures to Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat, Ho Chi Minh City.

On the occasion of Bamboo Airways' 7th birthday (August 18, 2025) and the 2-year milestone of the airline's comprehensive restructuring program, Bamboo Airways will officially transfer all domestic flight operations to and from Ho Chi Minh City to Terminal T3 - Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

New age, new mark
Specifically, in the first phase of moving to the new terminal, Bamboo Airways flights will be checked in at counters 45 - 50 (opposite to gates D2 and D3 of terminal T3, Tan Son Nhat International Airport) and flexibly expanded within the range from counters 43 - 52 according to actual output and demand. The airline's last-minute ticket counter will be located right at gate D2 for passengers to conveniently access when needed.
Moving all domestic flight operations to and from Ho Chi Minh City to Terminal T3 is not only an operational change, but also demonstrates Bamboo Airways' proactive adaptation to the national aviation infrastructure reorganization strategy. In the context of Tan Son Nhat Airport being frequently overloaded, moving to Terminal T3 - a new, modern, large-scale terminal - will contribute to improving operational efficiency and enhancing the experience for Bamboo Airways passengers in the new period.
To ensure passengers receive timely and accurate information, the airline will actively deploy notifications on all of the airline's official information channels including the website, official fanpage, email, SMS, Zalo OA account... Bamboo Airways recommends that passengers proactively monitor and update information to avoid confusion, ensuring a smooth and convenient travel process.

Ensure maximum passenger benefits
In order to ensure maximum benefits for passengers in the initial phase of transferring the operating terminal, Bamboo Airways has developed a support policy for passengers with flights to/from Tan Son Nhat airport in the first 07 days (from August 18 to August 24, 2025) after the airline changes to the new operating terminal. Specifically, in cases where passengers are late for flights departing from terminal T3 due to lack of information, but are present at T3 within 20 minutes after the departure time printed on the ticket and confirmed by Bamboo Airways' ground department, the airline will support passengers to change their tickets completely free of charge to the next flight on the same itinerary.
In case the next flights are full, Bamboo Airways will still support passengers to change their tickets for free and waive the fare difference to the nearest flight with seats available. For routes with a frequency of only one flight per day, passengers will be supported to change their tickets for free to the flight with the same itinerary the following day.
“With careful preparation and reasonable support policies for passengers who are still confused in the initial transition phase, Bamboo Airways hopes that the transfer of all domestic flights at Terminal T3 will go smoothly,” said a representative of Bamboo Airways.
Convenient connection, enhanced experience
Terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat International Airport is the largest domestic passenger terminal in the country. With a total construction area of up to 112,500 m² including 4 floors above ground and 1 basement, the terminal is designed to accommodate 7,000 passengers per peak hour and 20 million passengers per year. When put into synchronous operation, the terminal will increase the total operating capacity at Tan Son Nhat Airport to 50 million passengers per year, contributing to reducing the load on existing terminals and improving operational efficiency.
Equipped with modern facilities, Terminal T3 has 90 traditional check-in counters, 20 automatic drop-off counters, 42 check-in kiosks, 27 boarding gates (including 13 jet bridges and 14 bus gates), 25 security checkpoints and separate lounge areas for VIP and business guests. Not only improving service capacity, the new terminal also contributes to improving the passenger experience thanks to its modern, friendly and convenient design.
The traffic system connecting to Terminal T3 has also been upgraded by Ho Chi Minh City by putting into operation the Tran Quoc Hoan - Cong Hoa route with a length of 4 km, with a total investment of more than 4,800 billion VND. This project helps to directly and synchronously connect the new terminal with key traffic routes, thereby contributing to reducing traffic congestion that often occurs at Tan Son Nhat airport area.
