According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the night of November 25 to the morning of November 26, the North will enter the coldest period in the cold air mass covering the entire region.

On the morning of November 25, cold air affected most of the Northeast region. In Hanoi , there was no rain, the temperature dropped, the weather was cold and dry. It is forecasted that during the day and night of November 25, cold air will continue to affect other places in the Northeast, North Central and gradually spread to the Northwest and North Central.

This cold spell has dry characteristics, causing the weather to be sunny and dry, and the humidity to drop sharply. The lowest temperature in the North and North Central regions is generally between 12-15 degrees Celsius, and in the highlands, below 10 degrees Celsius in some places. In particular, from the night of November 25 to the morning of November 26, the temperature in Hanoi is forecast to decrease by 3-4 degrees Celsius compared to the previous day. In the following days, the temperature will increase slightly by 1-2 degrees Celsius but it will still be cold, and mountainous areas need to be on guard against the risk of frost.

Meanwhile, in the Central region, from the night of November 24 to the morning of November 25, some areas such as Hue City, Da Nang City and the East of Quang Ngai Province continued to have rain, showers, and locally heavy rain with thunderstorms. The rainfall recorded at Bach Ma station (Hue) was 97.6mm; Kham Duc (Da Nang) was 46.8mm.

Forecast for the day and night of November 25, Hue, Da Nang, and eastern Quang Ngai areas will continue to have moderate rain, heavy rain in some places, with common rainfall of 15-30mm, locally over 70mm.

In the Central Highlands region, on the morning of November 25, floods on the Kon River (Gia Lai), Krong Ana and Srepok River (Dak Lak) are receding but remain at high levels. In the next 24 hours, floods on the Krong Ana River will drop below alert level 2, the Srepok River at Ban Don station will remain at alert level 3, while floods on the Kon River will fluctuate around alert level 1.

The risk of flooding remains in some low-lying areas in Dak Lak and Gia Lai. In addition, vigilance is needed for landslides on steep slopes in the Central Highlands.
