Overview of the opening ceremony

At the ceremony, leaders of Tu Son province and city performed the opening ceremony of Tu Son Walking Street, Bac Ninh Tourism and Cuisine Festival and International Lantern Festival.

Tu Son walking street was officially put into operation with a length of 1.5 km including three streets named after famous people: To Hien Thanh, Le Quang Dao and Le Phung Hieu. The walking street is connected to the center of Ly Thai To Park, creating an open cultural living space complex including: Square, park, free children's play area, children's bookstore, Quang Do pagoda... Here, people and tourists can immerse themselves in folk art performances, cultural exchanges, experience traditional cuisine, visit booths introducing craft village products...

One of the highlights of the event is the Art Lantern Festival sponsored by Vingroup . Under the talented hands of artisans from several countries around the world, the festival space is lit up by hundreds of lanterns with unique and sophisticated designs, honoring national cultural values, simulating symbols: Saint Giong, Lac Long Quan, Ly Dynasty Dragon, Dong Ho folk paintings... The lantern festival space becomes an ideal place to capture beautiful moments, so that every citizen and visitor who comes here can feel the sacredness, national pride and love for the homeland.

Along with that, the Bac Ninh Tourism and Culinary Festival 2025 was opened with more than 120 booths from localities inside and outside the province, introducing to a large number of people and tourists typical craft village products, unique traditional dishes and tourism promotion programs, images, destinations and cultural heritages of Bac Ninh and other regions.

The opening of activities during the Do Temple Festival to celebrate the 1015th anniversary of King Ly Thai To-Ly Cong Uan's coronation to the throne clearly demonstrates the proactive and determined spirit of the government and people of the young city of Tu Son in preserving heritage, developing the economy, culture, and tourism in a sustainable and unique way. This is also an important step forward, making Tu Son city and Bac Ninh province an attractive destination on the map of Vietnam's cultural tourism.
