Tuan "Pho ma" played billiards for money from the night before until the next afternoon.

On March 7, the People's Procuracy of Bac Ninh province announced that the People's Procuracy of Yen Phong district (Bac Ninh province) had approved an emergency arrest warrant for Hoang Dinh Tuan (aka Tuan "Pho ma" or Tuan "Pho ma 36") for the crime of Gambling.

According to authorities, from the night of January 15 to the afternoon of January 16, at a billiards club in Cho town (Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province), Tuan "Pho ma" with Do Van Binh (28 years old), Tran Van Phuc (35 years old, all residing in Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province) and Nguyen Van Huy (20 years old, residing in Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province) gambled together in the form of billiards with money won or lost.

On March 5, the Investigation Police Agency of Yen Phong District Police issued a decision to temporarily detain Binh and Huy. A day later, the police temporarily detained Phuc and issued an emergency arrest warrant for Hoang Dinh Tuan.

Hoang Dinh Tuan has accounts on social networking sites Facebook and Tiktok as "Tuan Pho Ma 36".

Before being arrested, Tuan often went to traffic police checkpoints in many provinces and cities across the country to film clips of traffic police performing their duties and then posted them on social media.

These accounts of Tuan attract hundreds of thousands of followers and comments, and are of interest to public opinion.
