Student Sports Week: Spreading the spirit of solidarity and comprehensive educational philosophy

Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School (Hanoi) has just held the closing ceremony of Nguyen Sieu Sports Week 2025 "One Spirit, One Nguyen Sieu". The program ended successfully after two weeks of exciting and emotional competition, marking the spirit of solidarity, will, courage and aspiration to pursue the comprehensive educational goals of the School.

Taking place from October 15 to November 2, Nguyen Sieu Sports Week is the most anticipated annual activity, aiming to encourage the spirit of physical training, strengthen the connection between students - teachers - parents, and spread positive life values ​​to the Nguyen Sieu community. This year, Nguyen Sieu Sports Week 2025 brings together more than 2,000 athletes who are students and parents, competing together in many attractive sports such as soccer, basketball, pickleball, badminton, cycling, tug of war, table tennis, and swimming.

More than 1,300 gold, silver and bronze medals, including more than 300 gold medals, more than 300 silver medals and nearly 600 bronze medals, along with dozens of secondary awards, were awarded to the most outstanding individuals and groups, clearly depicting the will to rise, the spirit of solidarity and cohesion of Nguyen Sieu students, becoming a connecting thread between students, families and schools.

Speaking at the Closing Ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy, Principal of Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School, shared: This year, Nguyen Sieu Sports Week 2025 has the theme One Spirit - One Nguyen Sieu, associated with the chrysanthemum symbol, the symbol of the HPL (High Performing Learning) philosophy, representing the spirit of connection between each individual and each individual, each individual and the collective. Each "petal" is an effort, a will towards a common goal, affirming the determination of Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School on the journey to become a World Class School, where all students are encouraged to develop comprehensively both physically and mentally." This year's sports festival also shows the determination of Nguyen Sieu Secondary and High School in providing students with learning and experience opportunities outside the traditional classroom environment, discovering and nurturing sports talents, spreading the spirit of health training and creating a healthy playground, aiming towards the comprehensive educational goals of the School.
