Youth learn and follow Uncle Ho's teachings

The Provincial Youth Union awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2025.

To make learning and following Uncle Ho effective, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has developed a plan, guided the Youth Union and affiliated Youth Unions to register the contents of following Uncle Ho in groups as well as individuals; promoted propaganda work on learning and following Uncle Ho in many diverse forms, creative ways, keeping up with modern trends, suitable for young people. Specifically, the youth regularly maintain the column "Every day a good news, every week a beautiful story" on the Provincial Youth Union's electronic information page, social networking sites such as: facebook, zalo... from the province to the grassroots. Thereby, introducing the teachings and stories about Uncle Ho's moral example; information about outstanding activities of the Youth Union; typical examples of groups and individuals are also shared regularly, creating a widespread spread, replicating typical good people, good deeds, good models in the Youth Union. Therefore, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style creates a vibrant competitive atmosphere, contributing to improving the quality of all aspects of the Union's work.

With the slogan of action "Wherever there is a need, there are youth, wherever there is difficulty, there are youth", the Provincial Youth Union has launched many exciting emulation movements to follow Uncle Ho among the Youth Union members, which have been effectively implemented by the Youth Union bases. Typically, Hai Hau District Youth Union organized the "Spring Volunteer" program at A La Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary School, Long Sap Commune, Moc Chau District, Son La Province. At the program, televisions and refrigerators were presented to the school, helping to improve teaching and learning conditions; at the same time, portable speakers were presented to Long Sap Border Guard Station, supporting propaganda work and cultural and artistic activities; 40 sets of learning tools, coloring books, comics and toys for preschool children were presented, contributing to creating a lively learning environment; 102 sets of clothes and warm socks were presented to 102 students at two key schools in the village with a total gift value of 110 million VND. The Youth Union of Nam Dinh Nursing University in coordination with the Trade Union of Nam Dinh Nursing University, the Youth Union of the Department of Health , and the Youth Committee of the Provincial Police organized the program "Warm clothes for the highlands and free medical examination and medicine distribution" for people in Hoang Thu Pho commune, Bac Ha district, Lao Cai province, giving new uniforms to 783 students; giving 660 new blankets to 306 poor households and kindergartens, primary schools, and secondary schools; providing free medical examination and medicine to 400 people in Hoang Thu Pho commune; supporting facilities and building toilets for Ban Pay Kindergarten; repairing the dining room at Hoang Thu Pho Secondary School; building the project "Lighting up the village" for poor households without electricity...

Identifying learning and following Uncle Ho as the key task in the annual program and plan associated with the implementation of political tasks in the locality. Therefore, in order to add more meaningful youth projects and tasks, along with promoting the exemplary responsibility of leaders and key cadres of the Youth Union, Association, and Team at all levels, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee directed the Youth Union bases to maintain monthly meetings and report to the Provincial Youth Union on the achieved results; identify existing problems and limitations to find ways to overcome difficulties, thereby many creative and effective ways have emerged. Outstanding in the construction of advanced, exemplary new rural areas and civilized urban areas, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee directed the Youth Union bases to proactively and voluntarily register and undertake youth projects and tasks; Actively organize propaganda activities on environmental protection, response to climate change through implementing the movements "Anti-plastic waste", "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday" and activities of "Youth volunteer clubs to protect the environment"... From the beginning of 2025 to now, the whole province has carried out 623 youth projects and tasks with a total value of over 3 billion VND. Typically: Xuan Truong District Youth Union established 20 teams to organize environmental sanitation campaigns attracting more than 5,000 young union members to participate; organized the handover of 2 youth projects "Youth tree line project" and "Youth football field" worth 20 million VND. Hai Hau District Youth Union launched the "Youth Tree Row" project with a length of 2km, deployed the installation of 17 traffic safety mirrors, worth 67.2 million VND, 1 outdoor sports equipment project, 1 bougainvillea project worth 6 million VND. Truc Ninh District Youth Union built the youth project "Security Camera" installed in 6 hamlets, Truc Thanh commune with a total of 12 points, each camera point worth nearly 1 million VND... Along with that, continue to effectively implement the campaign "Each youth has an idea, creative initiative", actively mobilize young union members to share ideas and initiatives through the information portal "Vietnam Youth Creative Idea Bank". In particular, the Provincial Youth Union launched the "Online Visit Portal of General Secretary Truong Chinh Memorial House" in Xuan Truong district to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), and at the same time applied digital transformation to the work of educating patriotic traditions among union members and young people.

Comrade Ngo Thi Thuy Trang, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Provincial Youth Union, said: In order for the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style to spread widely and attract the response of a large number of union members and young people, the Youth Union at all levels always pay attention to arousing the competitive and pioneering spirit of the youth by organizing revolutionary action movements, creating an environment and motivation for union members and young people to strive to study and follow Uncle Ho's example in conjunction with emulation movements. From studying and following Uncle Ho, the youth in the province have been spreading many good deeds, promoting their pioneering role in all fields, ready to become a source of young human resources "both red and professional", contributing to building the homeland to become increasingly prosperous, strong and civilized.
