Ms. Bui Thi Nu, Vice Principal of Nguyen Hue High School (Nam Dinh City) shared: In the 2024-2025 school year, the school has 369 12th graders. The target set for this year's high school graduation exam is that the school's average score is in the top 10 public high schools in the province; 3 subjects are in the top 10; many students have scored 9, 10; many students have achieved high scores in university entrance exams. Therefore, very early on, the school has made a plan and agreed with the Parents' Representative Board on the review time and review implementation time. The school organizes mock exams of the Department of Education and Training, cluster exams and draws experience after each exam; analyzes and evaluates the results of each class and each teacher to clearly identify limitations in order to have effective solutions. The school has a plan to train weak students; regularly listens to students' feedback on graduation exam preparation, thereby making appropriate adjustments. Subject teachers innovate and diversify review and assessment methods to create interest for students; classify students' abilities to assign appropriate exercises for each group of students; guide students on how to systematize knowledge and appropriate review methods. Recently, the homeroom teacher organized a meeting with parents, asking parents to cooperate to share responsibility in managing their children's discipline during the exam review period, listening to any changes in their psychology and physiology, promptly encouraging and motivating them, and finding appropriate measures to promptly overcome any difficulties for students.

At Nam Truc High School (Nam Truc), Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhan, Vice Principal, said: This year, the school has 500 grade 12 students divided into 11 classes. In particular, the new point in the recognition of high school graduation in 2025 is to increase the rate of using learning assessment results in grades 10, 11 and 12 to 50% (previously 30% and only using grade 12 results) with the aim of comprehensively assessing the abilities of students studying according to the 2018 General Education Program and increasing the effectiveness of achieving many goals of the exam as announced; Candidates with a Foreign Language certificate that meets the regulations are exempted from the Foreign Language exam but not converted into 10 points in the recognition of graduation as previously regulated...

At the same time, training was organized for teachers of grade 12 on methods and content of reviewing high school graduation exams according to the 2018 General Education Program.

The Department of Education and Training is interested in guiding units to strictly implement Circular 29, while flexibly ensuring that students are fully equipped with knowledge based on developing a scientific, detailed and differentiated review plan; promoting students' initiative and self-study, enhancing the effectiveness of regular teaching hours; making the most of 2 review periods as prescribed in Circular 29 to review and supplement missing and weak knowledge.
