The message makes tourists excited and restless because the moss season is only short, lasting for more than 2 months. What could be more interesting than diving into the cool water, enjoying the salty taste of the sea, then looking at the green moss beach, letting your hair flow with each wave.
Nearly 100 km north of Phan Thiet city, Tuy Phong tourism has developed strongly over the past years, when many places, landscapes, and traditional festivals have been exploited and promoted. Many addresses are named such as the Ta Nang - Phan Dung trekking route, the seven-color Ca Duoc rock beach, giant wind turbines, the golden sand beach and the poetic fishing village of La Gan, the purple-flowered hills in the Tau Mountain area (Vinh Hao) and Phong Phu commune in July and August...
According to Mr. Duong Hong Son - Vice Chairman of Tuy Phong District People's Committee: On the basis of the project "Accelerating the development of services, especially trade and tourism in Tuy Phong district in the period of 2016 - 2020", the District People's Committee has actively resolved difficulties in the process of project implementation so that investors can speed up the progress. At the same time, mobilize and exploit resources to build infrastructure systems serving tourism in some tourist areas and spots, especially Binh Thanh Tourist Area, coastal routes, creating connections between the district's tourist spots with other spots in the province. Up to now, the Chi Cong coastal route has been put into use, connecting the Hoa Thang - Phan Ri Cua - Binh Thanh route; creating favorable conditions for early implementation of the Binh Thanh Tourist Area urban project, planning the Hoa Thang - Phan Ri Cua coastal area, and Hoa Minh Doi Duong tourist area . Currently, in the district, there are 21 tourism investment projects approved by the Provincial People's Committee for investment that are still in effect.
Diversify tourism products
In order to gradually develop tourism products, Tuy Phong District People's Committee has organized seminars to remove difficulties, help businesses connect, improve quality and services for tourists. Especially exploiting the potential, historical and cultural values, traditional festivals, and beliefs with unique characteristics of the district. These are the spring and autumn festivals of communal houses, Van Lach festival, Cat Bay relic memorial ceremony, Hung King's death anniversary festival , amateur music, Binh Thanh sand dune crossing competition, boat racing and developing sports according to the project "Building Binh Thuan to become a national center for tourism - sea sports" ...
In addition, Tuy Phong also promotes the development of Binh Thanh Tourist Area connecting with new destinations and tours, from the sea to the mountains such as Hon Cau Conservation Area tour, Ta Nang - Phan Dung route. Or introduce and guide how to prepare typical dishes and advantageous products through culinary and cultural channels.
Currently, in the district, there are 75 accommodation establishments that meet the standards of each type, serving well the accommodation needs of tourists. Staff of the establishments and tourist attractions are trained to develop community tourism associated with economic development, cultural preservation, resource protection, as well as communication skills, management and exploitation of tourist attractions and promotion of tourism products. In particular, the Management Board of Binh Thanh Tourist Area has established a team to protect the safety of visitors, tourists and protect and enhance tourism resources and environment; a team to rescue tourists swimming in the sea; and a team to clean the tourist area. Thanks to that, from 2016 to now, Tuy Phong has welcomed more than 6.8 million visitors to visit and relax, the average number of visitors has increased by 26.22%/year, the length of stay is 2-3 days/person.
To promote the value of the site, Tuy Phong District People's Committee has also proposed to the provincial departments and branches to review and remove the work of converting the purpose of use and compensation, in order to help project investors soon deploy and put into business operation. As well as arranging funding to build information stations, rescue stations, and boat anchorage areas at Binh Thanh Tourist Area according to prescribed standards. Priority is given to selecting potential investors to exploit the tourist route taking visitors from Mui Ne to Tuy Phong...
