Commending 123 typical examples of emulation in implementing Uncle Ho's 5 teachings

On April 11, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Education and Training of District 1 held a summary of the project of Building typical examples of District 1 students competing to implement Uncle Ho's 5 teachings in the period of 2022-2025. This is a project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) of the Department of Education and Training of District 1.

- Ảnh 1. — Ms. Le Thi Thanh Giang, Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, presented a letter of commendation to a preschool student who was recognized as a typical example in studying and training.

At the ceremony, District 1 selected and honored 123 typical examples in studying and training. Among them, there were 45 preschool students, 45 primary school students, 27 secondary school students, 3 specialeducation students and 3 students from the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center. These are students who achieved high results in district, city, national and international competitions, and have a sense of self-awareness in studying and following the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho.

At the ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Giang, Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 1, informed that the emulation movement to study and follow the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho has created valuable results: Nearly 10,000 exemplary students were commended, hundreds of letters of commendation were awarded, along with many lively activities such as writing thoughts about what they learned from stories about Uncle Ho, visiting historical and cultural relics, sharing good examples in studying and working...

Sharing with the students, Ms. Giang said that each outstanding student is a seed nurtured from the spirit of patriotism, the will to study and a compassionate heart, just as Uncle Ho once advised: "Young people do small things, depending on their strength".

"Every good deed, every useful work, no matter how small, will contribute to making the school where the children study brighter, our city more beautiful, our country stronger. I believe that, from this project, there will be more examples of Uncle Ho's Good Children continuing to shine and writing the beautiful journey of the education sector in District 1", the Head of the Department of Education and Training of District 1 confided.
