Priority regulations for admission to grade 1

For grade 1, school year 2025-2026, Nam Saigon Primary-Middle-High School (Nam Saigon School) plans to enroll 280 students in 2 groups:

Subject 1 : Priority is given to children with current residence in Tan Phu ward, district 7.

Subject 2 : Children who wish to study at the school, not located in Tan Phu ward, district 7.

For subject 2, the school's Admissions Steering Committee will base on the following criteria:

• Main criteria: Children who have completed preschool programs in the area; children whose parents or guardians work in the area (industrial parks, agencies, organizations located in the area); children whose brothers and sisters have studied at Nam Sai Gon Primary, Secondary and High School; children in other special cases depending on the decision of the school's admission steering committee.
• Additional criteria: In case the number of applicants exceeds the enrollment quota, the school will consider additional criteria for selection such as international English certificates. Note, students in category 2 must ensure that they fully meet the conditions for completing the enrollment registration on the city's official enrollment page, meeting at least one of the school's main criteria.

The Steering Committee will give priority to students who meet additional criteria. These criteria will be determined by the school's admission steering committee and submitted according to the school's instructions depending on the actual situation.

Regulations on grade 6 admission scores

The enrollment target for grade 6 of Nam Sai Gon School is 315 students.

Admission objects:

• Priority is given to students who have completed primary school at Nam Sai Gon Primary School, with a total score of 17 points or higher in grade 5 math and Vietnamese, from high to low to meet the quota. Expected to recruit 80% of the quota.
• Subject 2: Based on the remaining quota after selecting subject 1, the school will proceed to enroll students who wish to study at the school. The selection will be based on the remaining quota.

For subject 2, the school's admissions committee will base on the following criteria for admission:

• Main criteria: Students have completed primary school, have a total score of 18 points or higher in math and Vietnamese at the end of grade 5, and have an English certificate at the required level.
• Additional criteria: Students whose parents or guardians work in industrial parks, agencies, or organizations located in the area; students whose siblings have studied at Nam Sai Gon School; students in other special cases depending on the decision of the school's Admissions Steering Committee.

Nam Sai Gon School regulates enrollment time as follows:

From May 24 to 29: Parents of students register for admission on the city's primary school admissions page at https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn .

From May 30 to June 4, the school's Admissions Steering Committee will review and announce the admission results.

From June 5 to 8: Organize to receive application documents for grade 1 and grade 6. Parents or guardians confirm online on the city's admissions page and complete the admission procedures for Nam Sai Gon School.
