Deeply understanding this, the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province has launched the "Digital Literacy for the People" movement, opening a practical direction to eliminate technological illiteracy and narrow the digital gap between regions and population groups.
The Hoa Binh Provincial Women's Union - as a socio- political organization representing the legitimate rights and interests of women - has been playing a core role in propagating, organizing, and widely spreading this movement among all members.

2025 is the final year to implement the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, and is also the year to accelerate and make a breakthrough in preparation for the 14th National Party Congress.
In line with that trend, the Hoa Binh Provincial Women's Union identified digital transformation as a key task, the "key" to improving the quality of the Union's activities and promoting the role of women as the main subject in the development of their homeland.
In line with the 2025 theme "Promoting the role of women in participating in Party building, a strong political system, ready to enter the new era", the Women's Union at all levels has proactively organized many training courses, seminars, and models of applying information technology in the activities of the Union and daily life.
In particular, the movement "Building a New Era Peaceful Woman" - with the spirit of Solidarity, dynamism, creativity, self-reliance, self-improvement, and aspiration to rise up - has been materialized through activities to train digital skills, promoting the role of women in the digital economy , in the family and in society.
The movement "Building a New Era Peaceful Woman" is not just a slogan, but a guideline for each woman to practice and develop comprehensively. The criteria of the movement have been concretized, close but profound.
Access to technology not only helps women apply it to production and business, but also enhances independent thinking, mastery and affirms the position of modern women in the period of integration and digital transformation.
Vice President of the Women's Union of Hoa Binh province Nguyen Thi Viet Nga said that implementing the digital literacy movement is not just a temporary task, but an inevitable requirement of the times.
All levels of the Women’s Union need to clearly identify this as a consistent content in the work of the Women’s Union. Women in Hoa Binh need to access technology safely, proactively and effectively; thereby enhancing their position, economic power and digital capacity, gradually affirming their role in socio-economic development.
The Association must be a bridge, a companion, not leaving any sister behind in the digital transformation journey. This directive has become a compass, spreading strongly from the province to the grassroots, promoting drastic and flexible participation in organizing and implementing the movement.

Journey to continue the tradition of learning
If in the early years of the Revolution, "Popular Education" helped Hoa Binh people learn to read and write to escape the darkness of illiteracy, today, "Popular Digital Education" is the new light that helps women not be left behind in the digital age.
Models such as the "Women integrating in the online environment" club, classes on software skills, using public services, cashless payments, or creating e-commerce booths... have brought about clear changes for thousands of members.
Up to now, the whole province has 164 information technology application models with nearly 5,000 members participating; 100% of the Association's bases have fanpages for propaganda and social network connections; 161 digital skills training classes have been organized from the province to the grassroots level; Hundreds of women confidently livestream, open online booths, and sell their hometown agricultural products nationwide.
Regardless of age, level, or region, the "Digital Literacy for All" movement of Hoa Binh province sets a clear goal: to create conditions for all people, especially women, to be equipped with tools to integrate, to rise up, and to protect themselves in the digital world.
The movement is also an opportunity for the Women's Union at all levels to affirm its role in participating in Party building, policy criticism, monitoring the implementation of gender equality laws, and connecting women's legitimate rights in digital space and real life.
