On May 24, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province announced that preparations for the event of enshrining and worshipping Buddha's relics at Yen Tu relic and scenic area (Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province) have been basically completed. The event, the first time Buddha's relics are enshrined at Yen Tu, is expected to attract millions of people and Buddhist pilgrims to pay homage.

Mobilizing 1,000 people to serve the worship ceremony
Quang Ninh province mobilized about 1,000 people from the police, military, Yen Tu relic management board and employees of Tung Lam Development Joint Stock Company to serve this event.
In order to meet the accommodation needs of tourists, Uong Bi City has reviewed and arranged more than 2,000 accommodation rooms, capable of serving about 10,000 visitors at the same time. Meanwhile, Tung Lam Development Joint Stock Company also arranged Legacy Area and Lang Nuong Village as resting places for the organizing committee and service staff, ensuring maximum comfort and safety.

In particular, the price of Yen Tu cable car service will be reduced by 50% during the worship ceremony, to create the most favorable conditions for tourists and Buddhist pilgrims.
Thousands of chrysanthemums decorate to welcome Buddha's relics
According to Thanh Nien reporters at Truc Lam Palace, from the morning of May 24, many monks, nuns, Buddhists and people participated in cleaning and decorating the ceremony space. Thousands of yellow chrysanthemums were woven into solemn wreaths, tables and chairs were cleaned, and walkways were set up to welcome worshipers.

Venerable Thich Dao Hien, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Ninh province, said that the Buddha's relics will be brought from Phuc Son Pagoda ( Bac Giang ) to be enshrined at Truc Lam Palace, Yen Tu, from May 25 to 28.
The relics are placed in a dragon pavilion protected by tempered glass, ensuring absolute solemnity and safety. At the same time, an air conditioning system has been installed to keep the temperature stable at 23 degrees Celsius.
The Organizing Committee affirmed that during the entire worship ceremony, no fee will be collected, and free drinking water and food will be provided to the people and Buddhists who come to worship. This is considered an activity with profound spiritual significance, contributing to spreading the unique cultural and religious values of Yen Tu, the center of Truc Lam Buddhism in Vietnam.
