Commending 135 outstanding collectives and individuals following Uncle Ho's teachings

This activity aims to spread good values, arouse the spirit of responsibility, dedication and aspiration to contribute among the Youth Union cadres, union members and young people working in administrative agencies and public service units in the city.

On June 5, at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee (Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee) held a flower offering ceremony, reporting the achievements of President Ho Chi Minh; a program to honor exemplary collectives following Uncle Ho's teachings and progressive youth following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2025.

This is an activity to honor collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in studying, working and working, worthy of being flowers to decorate the flower garden to offer to Him, on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and the 114th anniversary of the day Uncle Ho left to find a way to save the country (June 5, 1911 - June 5, 2025).

He devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause, to national independence, to a prosperous and happy life for the people.

Next, 135 outstanding collectives and individuals following Uncle Ho's teachings were honored. Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Ngo Thanh Tuan praised the achievements of the outstanding collectives and advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2025 in the past time. He assessed that these are typical examples with many efforts in studying, training and working; knowing how to apply Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morality and style into practical work and daily life.

According to comrade Ngo Thanh Tuan, the 11th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee determined: "Ho Chi Minh cultural space is where the ideology, morality, style and career of President Ho Chi Minh are always present, becoming the spiritual asset and cultural value of the people, cadres and party members of the city named after Uncle Ho".

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, comrade Ngo Thanh Tuan requested the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Youth Union to focus on implementing the plan to implement Conclusion 01 of the Politburo . Continue to make studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle a voluntary and regular task of the Youth Union; first of all, the Youth Union cadres associated with setting an example of self-reliance, self-strengthening, and aspiration to build, contributing to the formation of Ho Chi Minh's cultural space.

Regarding the typical examples of following Uncle Ho's teachings, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee noted that each individual must constantly practice both "virtue" and "talent"; enhance the sense of responsibility in performing the political tasks of each agency, unit, and enterprise under the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. At the same time, continue to promote and spread to other young people in the agency and unit.

“From these examples, I hope that you will be a source of quality young cadres, taking the lead in carrying out the political tasks of the industry and units in response to the implementation of the city's 2025 theme,” said comrade Ngo Thanh Tuan.

After the commendation program, the delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee visited and presented gifts to families of war invalids, families with meritorious services to the revolution, and movement parents in Phu Nhuan district and District 1.
