Honoring 96 excellent valedictorians in 2023

On October 6, at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hanoi, a ceremony will be held to honor the excellent valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the capital in 2023.

This is an activity towards the 69th anniversary of the liberation of the capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2023). The program demonstrates Hanoi's deep concern for the cause ofeducation , training, and nurturing the young generation, inheriting and continuing the tradition of studiousness and respect for talents of the capital and the nation.

According to the Hanoi Youth Union, 96 valedictorians were selected for recognition in 2023, including valedictorians with excellent academic achievements, valedictorians who volunteered for the community, valedictorians with difficult circumstances, etc.

2023 is the 21st year that the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee have honored outstanding valedictorians. Over the past 20 years, the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee have honored 2,067 valedictorians.

The valedictorians are representatives of the dynamic and creative young generation of the Capital; a team of young intellectuals with aspiration to contribute, talented will, always burning with the flame of national spirit, pioneering and striving to build a strong country, worthy of the position of youth in the new era.
