Notably, the list summoned by coach Satoru Mochizuki this time includes a series of naturalized players of Dutch origin. This clearly shows the ambition of football in the archipelago country.

According to CNN Indonesia , in addition to familiar faces such as goalkeeper Laita Roati Masykuroh, defender Safira Ika Putri, midfielder Helsya Maeisyaroh or strikers Zahra Musdalifah and Claudia Scheunemann.

The team’s strength is significantly enhanced by the stars from the Netherlands. Among them, there are 4 players who have just officially completed the procedure of naturalization in Indonesia on June 10: Iris De Rouw, Felicia De Zeeuw, Emily Julia Frederica Nahom and Isa Guusje Warps.

Estella Loupattij and Noa Leatomu, who will be naturalized from 2024, also continue to be trusted.

It is worth mentioning that most of the newly naturalized players are quite young, between 18 and 22 years old.

In the 2026 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers, Indonesia will host a group with Chinese Taipei, Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan. Indonesia's goal is to win the group, as this is the only place to qualify for the finals this year.

Currently, the Indonesian women's team is only ranked 95th on the FIFA rankings. Far behind regional teams such as Vietnam (ranked 37th), the Philippines (ranked 41st), Thailand (ranked 46th) and Myanmar (ranked 55th).

However, with the addition of a series of Dutch stars, the Indonesian women's team will have a strong "transformation" in the near future.
