Facing a not-so-strong opponent in the second round of the group stage of the 19th ASIAD women's football, coach Mai Duc Chung decided to save the energy of the pillars to have the best force before facing Japan in the final round. In particular, the young players were given the opportunity along with the return of Tran Thi Duyen after a long time of not competing.
After the opening whistle, Vietnam was the team that controlled the game. In the 3rd minute, Thanh Nha had a shot that hit the crossbar, Van Su's rebound shot went over the bar. In the 5th minute, Hai Yen scored the opening goal after Tran Thi Duyen moved intelligently to block her opponent's pass.

The next goal of the match came in the 34th minute, Thuy Hang chipped the ball over the head of the Bangladesh goalkeeper from a cross by Thu Thuong from the home field. In the next attack, the ball came to Thai Thi Thao's feet with a long shot from outside the penalty area, the ball went hard, hit the bottom edge of the crossbar and went into the opponent's net in the 78th minute. Two minutes later, Bich Thuy headed the ball into the net, bringing home a double for herself from a corner kick.
Before the end of the match, Masura scored a goal to reduce the score to 1-6 for Bangladesh in the 87th minute from the 11m mark. From an attempt to organize the ball earlier, Tran Thi Duyen followed the opponent and committed a foul in the penalty area while trying to block.
With a 6-1 victory over Bangladesh, the Vietnamese women's team has secured their place in Group D with 6 points and is temporarily leading the group when Japan's match takes place at 6:30 p.m. The final match against Japan by the Vietnamese team at 3:00 p.m. on September 28 will determine the first and second place in the group.
