The Congress was held with the theme: "Improving leadership capacity, building a strong and comprehensive Party organization; promoting digital transformation, applying science and technology; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development in the new era".
In the past term, the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province has proactively and promptly concretized the policies and resolutions of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to lead the successful implementation of the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, building the Party organization and the activities of affiliated political and social organizations. Completing the main targets set for the 2020-2025 term.
The Congress identified key tasks for the 2025-2030 term, accordingly: Focusing on implementing 3 breakthroughs; 3 key tasks; 18 specific targets.
Some important targets identified are: By 2030, the state budget revenue in the area will reach 16,000 billion VND, the total product in the area will reach 164,800 billion VND, attracting more than 6 million tourists ; the average growth rate of total product in the area in the period 2026-2030 will reach 10.5%/year.
Along with that, each year more than 90% of organizations, agencies and units complete their tasks well or better; more than 90% of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees complete their tasks well or better; the annual party membership admission rate reaches 3% or more.
Speaking at the congress, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh praised the results achieved by the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee in the past term.
At the same time, it is proposed that in the new term, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee needs to focus on leading and directing the implementation of contents and tasks to successfully achieve the set targets and tasks.
Continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee, considering this a key task. Seriously and effectively implement Directive No. 50-CT/TW, dated July 23, 2025 of the Secretariat on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of Party cell activities in the new period; resolutely fight against corruption, negativity and waste.
Focus on promoting industrial development, focusing on processing, manufacturing, and energy industries in the direction of circular economy and green growth; exploiting potentials and advantages to develop tourism into an important economic sector of the province. Building a tourism brand in the direction of professionalism, quality, efficiency, greenness, and sustainability.
Along with that, we pay attention to the work of training, fostering, and building a team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees with sufficient qualities, capacity, sense of responsibility, and dedication to serving the people. Timely grasp the situation, thoughts and aspirations, care for the lives of cadres, civil servants, and public employees to ensure stability and effective implementation of assigned tasks.
At the congress, the Executive Committee of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee on the appointment of the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and the positions of Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
