Tuyen Quang is a bright spot in the movement to build Vietnamese women in the new era.

- On the afternoon of May 28, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union coordinated with the Provincial Women's Union to organize a workshop to evaluate the implementation results and build typical models to carry out the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era".

The workshop evaluated the results of the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era" and the emulation and reward work of the Women's Union at all levels.

Implementing the emulation movement under the guidance of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, in recent times, the Provincial Women's Union has concretized it with many practical models, close to local realities. Movements such as "Building Tuyen Quang women with intelligence, responsibility for family and community, and aspirations to rise up", "Women's Association for Progress", "Safe Village", "Brocade Weaving", "Turning Trash into Money" ... have been widely deployed, contributing to economic development, building new rural areas, preserving cultural identity, and improving the quality of life of members.

From 2022 to present, the whole province has nearly 700 collectives and individuals being commended at all levels, thousands of models of living, economic development and environmental protection with women as the core have clearly promoted effectiveness.

Speaking at the workshop, Ms. Hoang Anh Tho, Deputy Chief of the Central Office of the Vietnam Women's Union, assessed, "The emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era" with 4 criteria (having knowledge, having ethics, having health and having responsibility has created a vibrant emulation atmosphere in the entire Union system). Tuyen Quang is one of the bright spots in implementing the movement with many creative models, suitable for regional characteristics, making practical contributions to the common development. The workshop is an opportunity to review and evaluate the results, share lessons learned, and propose solutions to improve the quality of emulation and reward work in the new period."

Previously, on the morning of May 28, a working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union had a working session with the Women's Union of Luong Vuong commune (Tuyen Quang city) to survey and evaluate the implementation results, build models, and typical examples of the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese women of the new era".
