Seeking opinions on the draft Decree detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic

- On the afternoon of May 29, the Ministry of Construction held a conference to collect opinions on the draft Decree detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic and the Law on Amending and Supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic.

At the conference, delegates focused on giving opinions on the following contents: Inland waterway management zoning; ensuring safety, security and environmental protection in inland waterway activities; managing activities for vehicles entering and leaving ports, inland waterway wharves... At the same time, giving opinions on the Project to improve state management solutions to replace administrative procedures for licensing and exemption and reduction of fees for inland waterway vehicles entering and leaving seaports, ports, inland waterway wharves, and anchorage areas.

Consulting and discussing are important in ensuring the law is enforceable, consistent with the actual situation, ensuring effectiveness and feasibility in implementation, and eliminating unreasonable points. From there, it helps the drafting agency to adjust, supplement, and amend before submitting to the Government for promulgation.

Previously, in order to ensure quality and effectiveness in providing comments on the draft Decree detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic, the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to collect comments on the drafts in accordance with the provisions of law.
