Tuyen Quang regulates traffic during the Buckwheat Flower Festival

The Department of Construction of Tuyen Quang province has just issued a notice on traffic diversion to serve the Buckwheat Flower Festival in 2025.

Tuyen Quang bans many types of vehicles from circulating on National Highway 4C during the Buckwheat Flower Festival.

The 2025 Buckwheat Flower Festival will open on the evening of November 29 in Dong Van commune. During the festival, tens of thousands of tourists will visit the communes of the Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark.

To ensure traffic safety and avoid local congestion on the roads, the Department of Construction of Tuyen Quang province organizes traffic diversion on the following routes: National Highway 4C; the road from National Highway 4C to Lung Cu commune; Provincial Road 176, from Yen Minh commune to Meo Vac.

Specifically, from November 28 to 30, all types of cargo vehicles weighing more than 8 tons; specialized vehicles; tractors and some other construction machinery are prohibited from moving on National Highway 4C; the road from National Highway 4C to Lung Cu commune; Provincial Road 176, from Yen Minh commune to Meo Vac commune.

Restricted vehicles wishing to travel from Ha Giang wards 1 and 2 to communes along National Highway 4C can travel according to the following options.

The occasion of the Buckwheat Flower Festival will attract many tourists to the Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark.

Option 1, from Ha Giang 1 and 2 wards, follow National Highway 34, at km 4, turn left onto Ngoc Duong-Tung Ba-Trang Kim-Can Ty road and vice versa.

Option 2, follow National Highway 34 to km31+800, turn left onto Provincial Road 176B, from Minh Ngoc commune to Mau Due commune and vice versa.

Option 3, follow National Highway 34 to Ly Bon commune, Cao Bang province, turn left to go to Meo Vac commune and vice versa.

The Department of Construction of Tuyen Quang province also announced a ban on all types of vehicles (except priority vehicles; vehicles serving festivals; vehicles carrying delegates) from circulating through Dong Van commune.
