National golf players train before the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025

TPO - The Vietnam National Golf Team will have a week of training at Royal Long An Golf Course, before participating in the 2025 Gia Lai National Golf Championship.

The training session at Royal Long An Golf Course & Resort lasted from August 5 to 11 with the participation of 26 athletes (16 men, 10 women) and 7 technical experts, including 2 international experts and 5 Vietnamese experts (including head coach, assistant coach, psychologist, international referee and technical coordinator).

The training program focuses on three key objectives: Improving the players' technique, physical strength and competitive mentality; Assessing actual performance, as a basis for building international competition orientation and plans; Organizing intensive training sessions, playing on the field and analyzing individual techniques to optimize competition efficiency.

In particular, the program is accompanied by expert Ryan Lumsden, who has worked with many world- class golfers, including the famous sisters competing on the LPGA Tour and PGA Tour, Min Jee Lee and Min Woo Lee.

According to Tien Phong's source, after the training session ends, many national players will move straight to Gia Lai to prepare for the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 taking place from August 18 to 23, at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon.

Not only is it the biggest playground of the year, the tournament is also an important basis for the National Team's coaching staff to select the team to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand at the end of the year. The Vietnam Golf Association (VGA) said that 80% of the National team players will participate in the 2025 Gia Lai National Golf Championship.

With thorough preparation, the training session is expected to create an important stepping stone for the National players to achieve breakthrough results, first of all at the most prestigious tournament in the country.
