Emil Audero had an impressive performance to help Cremonese win 3 points.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper made a spectacular comeback after injury and kept a clean sheet for the entire 90 minutes, contributing greatly to his team's convincing victory in Serie A.

The FotMob rating site gave him a score of 8.0 – the highest in the match. This is the 5th consecutive match in which Audero has not conceded a goal (including at club and national team level).

The last goal the Indonesian star conceded came on August 29, in a match against Sassuolo. Since then, he and Cremonese - the team that was promoted to Serie A this season - have created a phenomenon at the beginning of the season.

It is worth mentioning that Cremonese immediately encountered difficulties without Audero. They went through 4 consecutive matches without a clean sheet and only collected 2 points. The return of Audero brought certainty to Cremonese's defense.

Previously, Audero suffered an injury and could not recover in time for the 4th round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in Asia. Many Indonesian fans believe that if Audero had been in goal, the team from the archipelago would not have been eliminated so bitterly in the 4th round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Audero was born in 1997 in Mataram (Indonesia), but moved to Italy at a young age and grew up in the Juventus youth system. He played for Sampdoria and Inter Milan.

Meanwhile, in round 9 of Serie A, another Indonesian central defender, Jay Idzes, also left a strong mark in Sassuolo's 2-1 victory over Cagliari. The Indonesian player played the full 90 minutes and was one of Sassuolo's most prominent stars.
